Travel back in time with us as we travel the streets of historic downtown Plattsburgh and hear the forgotten tales that lie hidden in plain sight! Follow in the footsteps of soldiers, sailors, and patriots from the epic 1814 battle. Hear the macabre stories of murder, hangings, and the Great Fire of 1867 which leveled all of downtown. See where Presidents visited and Captains of Industry made their homes as we wind our way through "The Point," one of Plattsburgh's beautiful historic districts, by lantern light. Come along and discover the Lake City's fascinating past.
Tours last roughly an hour and 20 minutes. Since this is a walking tour, good footwear is recommended.
