My son recently finished up his soccer season as a senior, and is almost inconsolable – his team lost in the final round and of course, this is not the glorious end of season he anticipated.
My question is about different spousal views of retirement.
Twice this week I have heard someone say, ‘use your words’. I always think of it as a sarcastic remark, but does it actually have some value?

What has happened to the art of social courtesy?
I have an awful problem of not being able to remember who people are that I have previously met when they are “out of context.”
My husband spends much of his down time playing video games, watching TV., surfing the net or playing fantasy football.
In anticipation of the new year, I always make a new year’s resolution and stick close to it the first 2 to 3 weeks of the new year….and then somehow I get distracted and am back to doing what I have always done. How do I make the resolution stick?
